Nicholas Schrunk is an Emmy award-winning feature film & commercial director. His feature documentary Blood Road won the Emmy award for Outstanding Graphic Design & Art Direction, in addition to receiving nominations in cinematography and sound mixing.

Schrunk focuses on action and adventure storytelling, including extensive directing work with Formula 1. His methods have been featured in American Cinematographer and combine scientific, reason-driven processes with traditional visual design principles, resulting in work that is known for both its emotional power and uncompromising technicality.

His other accolades include both the Silver Pencil award in Film Craft Innovation and Bronze Cannes Lion award in Cinematography for his work with Porsche. Schrunk also won the Webby award for Best Sports Film for “Perspective,” which is widely recognized as the most viewed skateboard film on the internet.
