Nicholas Schrunk is an Emmy award-winning feature film & commercial director focusing on action and adventure storytelling. Utilizing his technical background in both science and design, Schrunk combines a reason-driven process with traditional visual design principles illustrating stories that are visually and emotionally moving.

Schrunk directed the award-winning feature documentary Blood Road. Nominated for Emmy awards in cinematography, sound mixing and winning for outstanding art-direction. It’s sold-out screenings worldwide & won Grand Jury awards at numerous festivals along with praise from Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, Access Hollywood, Sports Illustrated, USA Today & ESPN.

Additional accolades include the Webby award for "Best Sports Film" for his film “Perspective”, noted top 10 best advertisements of 2019 by Google for his work with ski-racing legend Lindsey Vonn, and featured for his cinematography and filmmaking methods in American Cinematographer.
